Our Mission

The Sparrow Academy mission is to cultivate conscientious, engaged citizens through a scholarly and artistic study of the humanities, math and science, grounded in Waldorf philosophy.

Sparrow Academy is a public charter school in San Diego, California and a member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education

At Sparrow Academy, our approach to education is based on the understanding that we are guiding complex individuals toward their highest potential as human beings. This includes engaging their intellect, developing their resilience, opening their hearts, and moving their bodies.
